The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act Electronic Data Interchange
Law (HIPAA EDI law) requires Pan-American to accept group health insurance transactions
electronically in standard format as provided by the Law.
If you represent a health services provider or clearinghouse and would like to submit
electronic transactions to either our Puerto Rico office or our Worksite Unit at
